A Travel Guide: Lobo Cave in Jiabong, Samar

Lobo cave is a hidden haven of magnificent mineral formation and is considered as one of the most beautiful caves in the Philippines. It is a 3.2 km long cave located at Brgy. Tagbayaon, Jiabong, Samar.

Cave Master Joni A. Bonifacio of Trexplore the Adventures was among one of the discoverers of the cave and it was mapped by an Italian speleologist in April 2006. This cave is perfect for people who are new to caving experience

How to get there?

Once you have booked a tour package, travel to Catbalogan City. If you are from outside Region 8, book a flight to Tacloban City, then ride a van bound to Catbalogan.

After arriving at the terminal in Catbalogan, head to the main office of Trexplore located at Abesamis Store, Allen Avenue.
